The ApplyTexas application is similar to the Common App but is specifically for Texas schools, making it convenient for students to apply to multiple colleges with one application.

What do you need before getting started?

Email Address: A valid email is necessary for receiving application updates and responses.

Social Security Number: Recommended for Financial Aid and specific benefits, aiding faster application processing.

Full Legal Name: Use your complete legal name to prevent delays and ensure accurate record-keeping for enrolment

Step 1: Create an Account:

To get started, you need to create an account on the ApplyTexas website. This involves entering your username, email, and password

Step 2: Select Your Target University or College:

After creating your account, you will need to select the 4-year or 2-year college admissions application and choose the target university or college you are applying to.

Step 3: Complete the Application: 

Once you have selected the colleges you want to apply to, you can complete the application, which includes entering personal information, academic history, extracurricular activities, employment information, and answering college-specific questions.
